AND THE WINNER IS...

Actually, I'm very pleased to announce Sarwat has chosen two winners. One winner who named a character that appealed to Sarwat, and the other winner who suggested a character that Sarwat already has plans for.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TWO WINNERS, they are...

FRANK A -

CHARLES BABBAGE (1791-1871), mathematician and inventor. Babbage created the concept of the first computer, his Analytical Engine, and although it was never built in his lifetime I don't think we need let that stop us! :)

I propose that in fact, unbeknown to the world, Babbage was the Templars' cryptographer and that he did build his Analytical Engine, which he used to encode important, secret Templar messages so that they could be sent securely between members of the Order.

Sarwat's comments - I love the idea of Babbage. I'm an old engineer at heart and I like it, a lot.

NICOLE MOECKLI -

I propose that Philip IV of France was a Templar Knight. He went after the Knights to increase his own wealth and in the process became a knight himself. But Philip was not true to the cause, in fact he could have cared less about their mission. He was the selfish, snide, unworthy rogue who orchestrated the fall of the Knights in search of his own agenda. It might seem a bit far fetched, but how many times do we hear of cover-ups? Throughout history people have tried to destroy those they were associated with.

Sarwat's comments - I already have plans for Phillip and I'm saving him for something special. Because 'great minds think alike' I'd like Nicole to be a winner too.

Both winners will receive a signed copy of Devil's Kiss by Sarwat Chadda.

Could Frank and Nicole please leave their addresses in the moderated comments box and your prizes will be forwarded to you.
Many thanks
