My writing achievements
- Middle-grade novel, Pig-Boy & the Quest for the Cinnamon Forest, shortlisted in Cornerstones Wowfactor competition 2007.
- Pig-boy also received an Honorary Mention in SCBWI-BI's Undiscovered Voices anthology competition 2008.
- Created characters and scenarios for a murder mystery game company.
Successfully completed the first draft of, Scarred, a YA novel for NaNoWriMo.
An extract from my MG fantasy, Escape From Above, was chosen as a promising entry in the 2011 Times/Chicken House competition and published on The Times website.

I won first prize in the inaugural Munch Bunch and Tesco's competition to write a children's story suitable for children aged between two and five years old.
- The Writers' Centre, Norwich awarded my YA novel, Scarred, a free manuscript assessment from The Literary Consultancy. Comments from the Writers' Centre judges : 'The extract you submitted captured me from its first words and had me wanting to read more. It feels contemporary and commercial.'
The Writers' Centre have featured me on their website and will be following each of the six winners writing journey on the WCN website.
